Dear Students & Parents,

I am excited to announce “Mr. W.’s First Dance Social”. – DOWNLOAD WAIVER/RELEASE FORM

This will be a fun afternoon of ballroom dancing, getting dressed up, meeting your friends from school and getting to know ballroom dancers from other schools. I would like to provide you with opportunities to get your CHA-CHA on, and practice your dancing.

I have planned lot’s of dancing for all of you, perhaps a few new dance moves, and word has it that there may be an exciting dance show. That’s all I am saying. I don’t want to spoil the surprise.Not only will this be a fun event, but as young ladies and gentlemen you will also have an opportunity to give back to the community. If you bring a non-perishable food item you will automatically participate in a raffle. There will be some great prizes, and all the collected food items will be donated to a local soup kitchen.

Since this dance will be right around the holidays dress up for the holidays. There is a dress code for Mr. W.‘s Dance Socials and it will be enforced, meaning if you don’t dress the part, you may get turned away at the door.

DRESS CODE:

Gentlemen:
Dress pants, long sleeved button down shirt, tie or bow tie. (Sports coat or Suit Jacket optional)

Ladies:
Dress, or skirt with top. Skirts or dresses are not to be shorter than two inches above the knee (about 3
fingers wide). Deep necklines are not permitted.

ABSOLUTELY NO JEANS, T-SHIRTS, BASEBALL CAPS OR FLIP FLOPS!

With your ticket you will either receive a soda of your choice or a bottle of water. Additional sodas and water will be available for $ 1.00 each. Perhaps we also get some of the parents to donate a few cookies ;o)
I look forward to seeing all of you. Spread the word. The more we are the more fun we will have. If we make this event a success we will definitely repeat it regularly.

TICKETS:

Tickets are available below. The price per ticket is $ 15.00. Certain schools may have tickets available in their office. Those tickets are only $ 12.00 each, since we are not being charged by third parties. These tickets are only available for cash. Please bring exact change. Since we would like to have a head count before the event, ticket sales in schools end on December 15th and online on December 16th. Tickets at the door will be $20.00 each, payable in cash with a signed waiver/release form from parent/guardian.
